 Gloster Santé Europe draws the attention to environment of the patient.
In 1999, Gloster Santé Europe identified the "missing link" of the general protocol of hygiene and shown that it was at the origin of the RCC "recurring contamination cycles : a self-sustained system of deficiency as regards hygiene ".
Thus, Gloster Santé Europe has to find a solution which makes it possible to treat, in its entirety, the environment of the patient.
“The patients environment vigilance” is a step which was confirmed by the last studies such as those published by the French medical authorities : Rapport : "Microbiology of the environment in the establishments of health air, water and surfaces - Ministry of Health, DSG/DHOS, CTIN,
2002”.
In this context, Gloster Sante Europe has developed and patented innovative technology called 'Dry Mist diffusion'.
This technology ensures a degree of disinfection of the patient’s environment superior to anything known up to now, as it completely and evenly disperses the disinfectant over all surfaces present (using the aerospray principle).
It thoroughly disinfects the surfaces and volumes that other treatments can’t reach'.
Field trials were carried out on the Sterinis®/Sterusil® combination between December 2003 and September 2004 in France and abroad (Norway, Netherlands, Asia, …). Their performance was tested in a wide variety of actual conditions, such as acute hospital wards (or recovery wards), infectious disease wards, ambulatory hospital wards, centralised kitchens, and buildings visited by members of the public including young children.
The Results prove the high efficiency of the process.
